Nokia Lumia 925 – Another PureView but the Lumia Level

The PureView capabilities of Lumia 925 stay at the Lumia level which was introduced first in the Lumia 920. So there is no monster pixels on the sensor unlike 808 PureView to perform pixel-binning/oversampling, but the CMOS sensor of 8.7MP like the one in Lumia 920. The same Carl Zeiss lens with f/2 aperture opening. The difference is found within the lens. In Lumia 925 it’s now a 6-element design which is again very first time in smartphones.

Nokia has announced its latest flagship PureView camera smartphone, the Lumia 925. When telling about the new device, Jo Harlow of Nokia also presented the new camera features of Nokia Lumia 925. Smart Camera is such a one which brings the “Action Shot” feature and will be rolled out to the older Lumia devices with a Windows Phone 8 software update coming in July. “Nokia Lumia Amber” is the name of that software update.

Nokia Lumia 925 is now the third in the Lumia range with the PureView tag after Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 928 whereas the Lumia 928 is only for the United States. Windows Phone ad encourages iPhone and Android users not to fight, rather switch

There may be doubts about Windows Phone OS being performed good globally even when the largest hardware manufacturer Nokia have joined in the making, but in the phase of advertising Microsoft hasn’t stopped and yet released a TVC which is actually offensive to the ones belong iOS and Android smartphone users. The ad targets directly the iPhone and the Samsung community where the story plots with a wedding ceremony having wedding couple on stage and the invitees partitioned seated in two columns(groups). Those two parted groups of people actually are the iPhone users at one side and the other side obviously is the Samsung users.
