Supposed to be Nokia 900/Ace got replaced with Lumia 800: NokiaDevForum edited the video

Do you remember the recent accidental appearance of an unknown/unannounced Nokia’s Windows Phone in the video published by NokiaDevForum? That was supposed or considered to be Nokia 900 or Nokia Ace rumoured last month, but when the images of such an unknown device started to get noticed and spread over the blogosphere, NokiaDevForum pulled the video and set it to private. Even that didn’t help and another copy of the video got its place on YouTube by some unknown individual.

— both videos after the break —

It was just a matter of time that NokiaDevForum did a really very unexpected thing by uploading the same video again but this time the device in the video is not that what we saw earlier. Now it’s Nokia Lumia 800 in the video.

Unannounced Nokia Windows Phone Now with Nokia Lumia 800

Above snaps were captured from two videos when it’s 00:14 on the seek bar.

You can see the difference clearly, picture at the left is showing a mysterious Windows Phone by Nokia while the picture on the right, taken from the new video is showing the Nokia Lumia 800

Watch the new video below which has just been uploaded by nokiadevforum again. (Thanks to the YouTube subscriptions)

If speaking truth then the real taste was not actually the video but it was the accidental appearance of an unannounced device which made it interesting. If you missed to see that original video, you can watch it now with that mysterious Windows Phone by Nokia in the following copied video until it also gets removed due to copyrights claim.

So what does this all tells?

  • Did Nokia make double mistakes after editing the video with Lumia 800 to cover another mistake?
  • Was that mysterious device a real phone coming in future by Nokia or was just an illustration?
  • If it was real, then is it Nokia 900/Ace we have talked already with its leaked image and specifications? (both look different though)
  • Or was it just a publicity stunt to create another hype about a future Windows Phone from Nokia?

I really don’t know. If you do, then tell us what do you know or think about it.
