Update: Nokia Store QML Client brings Support for Nokia E6, Split-Screen Keyboard and Spelling-Correction

nokia-store-qmlWith each update of Nokia Store QML from Beta Labs, the most wanted feature was always the split screen keyboard which now has been added to the recent update of the store client. Devices with VGA resolution like Nokia E6 now supported. The new version brings split-screen keyboard support as well as spell correction but search history and suggestions are still missing.

Previous version 3.18.036 was just a minor update, while this new version 3.20.044 brings the following updates in the app.

Change log:

Complete Change log Version 3.20.044 includes:

  • Support for Arabic, Hebrew and Kazakh languages
  • Support for VGA resolution for devices such as Nokia E6
  • Improved Virtual Keyboard for Text Entry, allows users to enter text directly in the entry form entry fields  “utilizing a split-screen view”
  • Improved Search Experience: Spelling correction and Alternative results
  • Improved reliability for operator billing while connecting via WLAN. Note that this only applies to WAP-Direct billing methods

Also, an additional feature will be activated on/after December 16.

  • Registration Lite: Allows new consumers to download up to 10 free apps without the need to create a Nokia account

Compatibility:

Store QML client is available for all devices running Symbian^3 software (including PS1, PS2 “Anna” and SR1 “Belle”), except for those devices with VGA resolution (e.g. E6-00)
