Nokia N9 Integration with Yahoo, Windows Live Messenger, ICQ, AIM and Others
This addition to the internal OS user interface is an real example of a system to tell how much it is customisable. A third party developer can modify the system and add more features to it. Previously found a tricky way from command line of getting MSN and other instant messengers on Nokia N9 was a bit complex for normal end-users. Now a known Symbian modder CODeRUS has brought all that into Nokia Store for your convenience.
“Extraplugins Accounts UI” is a plugin developed to be embedded with the internal “Accounts UI” of MeeGo Harmattan on Nokia N9/N950. That tells it won’t appear on your “Applications” home view with an icon. Installing the plugin from Nokia Store will add more options in the “Accounts” application on Nokai N9. Additional services ICQ, AIM, Windows Messenger/MSN, Yahoo, Gadu-Gadu, VKontakte, Classmates, QIP / XMPP and Jabber / XMPP will be fully integrated with Accounts that you will be able to add, delete, edit parameters right from your Accounts manager.
