This is one the apps which actually get famous before release and users start waiting for it to be available for them. Many Windows Phone 7 users in this line were waiting for the Carbon app for Twitter. After releasing a few beta versions of the app last year, Carbon is now available on Marketplace.

Carbon Twitter client is not a free app and will cost you $1.99 for being one of the best and premium apps. If wondering why not free? then simple and straight answer is that it is really worth paying that money as you will get all those features which are required to be helpful throughout the navigation of the app in a smartphone.

Features include inline Pictures on the Timeline, Double Tap on tweets for quickly replying, Live Ties for every account, pinnable to the Home Screen with Mentions & Direct Messages, Compose Tile on the Home Screen for a speedy tweeting, Search Tiles for #hashtag or keywords, Threaded Direct Messages View, Bit.ly Pro URL shortening, Read Later support which include Instapaper & Read It Later.

The developers have promised another quick update release v.1.2 on February 15th which will bring a few more features and fixes e.g. they mentioned the slow scrolling of the timeline due to inline images which will be fixed in the next update. With the next update users will be able to trial the Carbon app before actually paying and buying it.

Just for a note if you have forgotten, an Android version of Carbon Twitter client is already in work as @CarbonAndroid sneaked with a timeline screen of the app earlier
