First Ever “Global Launch” of Nokia Mobile Devices from Pakistan: What to expect on May 15th?

Nokia is holding a Global Launch Event
in Karachi, Pakistan – “First Time Ever”

Save the date “May 15th”. It’s the day when Nokia is going to organise an event for launching upcoming Nokia devices in Pakistan. E-Invitations have been sent out to media personnel. This will be the first launch event of Nokia devices ever held in Pakistan for global markets. However previously there have been many local events held by Nokia Pakistan to announce devices for Pakistani market.

It’s an important fact to note that Nokia chose Pakistan for a global launch event. The event will project the positive soft image of Pakistan as a country which has earned to honor of becoming a global Launchpad for a multinational company like Nokia. This could even push other brands and companies follow it.

Many of you might be thinking about that what mobile phones at the moment from Nokia are yet to be launched globally? And what this event is going to have for Pakistani market? Although we do hope from such “Global” launch event to bring some high-end smartphones like Nokia Lumia 900 and the world’s top imaging smartphone Nokia 808 PureView in Pakistan, but it’s not more than just a hope and is not yet sure what Nokia is going to announce on May 15th. Most probably it could be the devices for masses and markets like Pakistan from low-end to mid-range devices for “Next Billion”. Also those high-end device have already been launched globally but may be we’ll have them launched in Pakistan locally by Nokia Pakistan sooner or later.

On a side note, initial markets for Nokia 808 PureView have already been officially announced to be the Russia and India but @NokiaEgypt has also been inviting for May 8th event specially for Nokia 808 PureView since a few days. See if we’ll hear something like that. But whatever it is, we are still happy hearing about this global launch being held in Pakistan for the first time ever.
