Draw Something and Zynga Poker coming to Nokia Asha touch phones range

Zynga games coming to
Nokia Asha range of touch phones

Nokia and Zynga games have collaborated to bring ones of the most popular titles from iOS and Android to Nokia’s S40 Asha Touch range of feature phones. Following the first announcement of the partnership that Nokia and Zynga made back in June, Nokia Conversations has  now stepped further to announce the two the titles “Draw Something” and “Zynga Poker” from Zynga games which will be coming later this year to Nokia Asha touch phones. Draw Something is an addictive and simple multi-player game where the peers on different devices draw on their devices and challenge with each other to identify the drawing. Zynga Poker, on the other hand, is classic high-stake cards game.

Both games will be available from Nokia Store for Nokia Asha Touch phones which include Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311. The good thing for the users is that the games will be free of cost as announced.

“It’s great to expand our offering of Zynga games to deliver more blockbuster titles across our portfolio of mobile devices, giving consumers great choice and tremendous value.” said Bryan Biniak – Nokia’s Vice-President & General Manager of Global Partnering & Application Development. While commenting on the deal, he also added “With premium design, powerful hardware and outstanding gaming capabilities, we’re redefining what consumers expect from today’s feature phone experience.”

Well there is a need to mention that Nokia seems really serious with its latest feature phone OS “Nokia Asha Touch OS” to let their users have as much (as possible) experience of what today’s smartphone users have been having. Before Zynga, Nokia has also closed the deals with the top rated mobile game developers/firms like EA Games, Gameloft and Rovio to bring their gaming experience to the Finnish feature phone OS.
