Windows Phone for Masses in Pakistan
Lumia 610 also joins the big Windows Phones
Nokia Lumia 610, at lowest-end from Nokia with Windows Phone OS 7.5 has been launched in Pakistan officially. Previously, if you remember, Nokia has officially launched Nokia Lumia 900, Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 in Pakistan for mid-range and high-end markets however the Nokia Lumia 610 was missing at that time which has also joined the team of their big brothers in Pakistan.
The retail price for Nokia Lumia 610 is estimated around PKR 20,000 to PKR 22,000. So what you get in this price is Windows Phone OS running low-end smartphone having 3.7″ LCD display protected with Gorilla Glass. Being the lowest hardware in operating with Windows Phone OS Lumia 610 is bundled with only 800 MHz Single CPU and 256 MB of RAM. Well that is really a low-end device in its category.
A little comparison with Lumia 710 will be worth taking along as the current market price of Lumia 710 is around PKR 26,000 that gives you almost doubled the processor and the RAM. However Lumia 610 sure is gorgeously looking smartphone that is said to be doing all the good things smoothly with Windows Phone OS. Hence we haven’t had our hands on with Lumia 610 so we can’t say a word about it. You can take look at our reviews of Lumia 800 and Lumia 710.
