Android 5.0 Lollipop officially the next version of Google’s OS

Recently announced in a blog post, Android Lollipop which is the next version of Google’s mobile OS is thought to be the most intelligent and flexible Android to date. It will work on all kind of device with any size of screens such as phones, tablets, TVs, smart watches and vehicles.

Android Lollipop was initially demoed during the Google I/O event earlier this year in June, when first Android 5.0 was introduced to bring new design approach on devices. Android Lollipop, as for consumers, will bring a lot more for developers too in the form of APIs.

The new OS will support multiple devices as well as will give users the ability to share at most extent, for example sharing apps, songs, video, media and other content. Nexus Player, a new device from Google which is built in collaboration with Asus, will come with new OS version of Android TV. With it you will be able to play game on your large TV with a game pad and then continue playing on your phone.

At first, Android 5.0 Lollipop will come preloaded on Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player. Later in the coming weeks the OS will also be available for Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 and Google Play edition devices .
