Google, finally, has started rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop via OTA to consumers having Nexus devices. Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 will be updated from KitKat to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop while the new Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will also receive minor updates with bug fixes.

If you are a Nexus user and were wondering to see the early rollout of Lollipop on Moto G devices, as most probably you would, then of course this news is extremely joyful for you. If you have not yet received the update then don’t panic it would be in the way. Or you can find the factory images detail after the break.

Unfortunately, not all Nexus devices will be facilitated with the latest Android Lollipop at this time. As announced earlier about the Nexus 4 to receive the update, the device is not yet listed in the factory images as well as it’s out of the OTA field of Android Lollipop. Google has officially disclosed that they don’t have any words about the Nexus 4 and LTE versions of Nexus 7

At this time nothing is known about the update for the Nexus 4 and LTE version of the Nexus 7.

We hope that Google will not leave you guys out of the loop and may manage to bring it on your Nexus 4 and LTE Nexus 7 devices.

The OTA has started and may take several hours or days to reach your Nexus device. Or otherwise you don’t want to wait and do things manually. Download the factory images for your supported Nexus device and flash it on your device. Binaries can also be downloaded.

Make sure you download the correct version from the factory images and flash on your Nexus devices. You also better make backup of your device before updating.
