The successor to the Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was launched in Pakistan where we covered the story and also published a hands-on with the new Note 4 from the event. For the in-depth review of the latest phablet from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 4 is here with us.

We have spent a good time with this new phablet but before we go into detail with it, we are publishing the unboxing session of the Galaxy Note 4.

The Note 4 comes in the similar packaging of a Samsung smartphone which is used to be not so bulky and just covers the device in it. The off-white box prints with the labeling and material information as well as includes device identity information such as serial and IMEI numbers with bar codes.

The box is parted in half to open from top which is tight enough as you have pull the top part of the box with a little power. Opening the box reveals the Galaxy Note 4 residing on top with the usual screen sticker labeled a lot with text and images. (It never impressed me – a factory default screen protect would do much better for willing consumers.)

Underneath the device, after pulling the tray, a standard user guide and manual comes up and then the box is full with the compartments of little blocks containing each of the accessory you will have with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Accessories include, a fast charging adapter, a data/connectivity cable with standard USB and micro USB connectors, stereo headset with additional ear buds, and the extra pointer pins for the S-Pen with the replacing tool.

That’s it, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 valued at Rs. 80,000/- (~ USD 845) comes in four colours which are Charcoal Black, Frost White, Blossom Pink and Bronze Gold. We got the white one for review as you can see.

It’s good that Samsung preferred the standard micro USB 2.0 port on the Galaxy Note 4 unlike the micro USB 3.0 in Note 3. We know that it was featured in Note 3 for faster data transfer and faster charging. Well with Note 4, Samsung has brought the new power adapter which enables the fast charging even with the commonly used USB 2.0. OPPO’s Rapid Charging also work with standard USB connector. But we believe the Note 4 will not have the faster data transfer rate.
