Microsoft announced budget smartphones the Lumia 435 and the Lumia 532 in January this year and a month later these were launched in Pakistan. It’s late that we have just got the devices for the review here at T-Pro so we really don’t want to waste time anymore. Although the reviews will be done separately to cover as much detail about a phone as possible, here goes the unboxing session of the Lumia 532.

Lumia 532 is pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Denim software update and features a 4 inch WVGA LCD with resolution of 800×480 pixels and 1560mAh battery capacity. 1.2 GHz dual-core processor is on board with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC along with 1GB of RAM. Expandable memory with up to 128 GB via micro SD card is supported as well as 8 GB of mass storage is available on the phone.

The Lumia 532 comes with very standard items in the retail package. Headphones are included but again the USB cable is not separately included in the package. Micro USB connector and wire are fixed into charger.

Our first impression about the device is quite good for its design but one thing which was prominent is the thickness of the device. Its 11.6 mm thick profile is much for this sized device. However to be true, such thickness is really good for the grip and what we liked was the glossy frame around it separating it from the rear panel.

Costing at around PKR. 12,000/-, Lumia 532 seems to be promising as our first impressions tell us, but you really need to wait for our detailed review of the Lumia 532 which is coming soon. Let us know about your concerns below in the comments and we’ll try to cover that in our review.
