It’s also being reported that the HTC O2 will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 820 SoC from Qualcomm, which is supposed to deliver 40% better performance over its predecessor as well as 40% reduced battery consumption. Another important thing which was not officially disclosed by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 820 will still equip quad-core processor with ARM based Hydra cores developed by Qualcomm.

HTC O2 will have all metal body and is being expected to gain momentum if the rumors are true with the latest Snapdragon chipset along side the reports of containing 4GB of RAM as well as different variants with internal storage.

There is a factor to note that originally the rumors about such a high-end device also contained reports as the device would arrive in October. This thing is also now changed as with the chip Snapdragon 820 itself will appear not until 2016, the HTC O2 may be announced during next year’s MWC 2016.
