Update: Official Nexus 5X has been launched

Well, September 29th is the date fixed for Google Event, the information about the upcoming Nexus devices won’t stop coming in as the final product names for the upcoming devices would be Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P – is the latest update.

The name “Nexus 5X” has been in speculations for quite a few weeks which is said to be the name for a Nexus device made by LG. According to the new reports by Droid-Life, as their source reveal to them – the other Nexus device made by Huawei will be called as Nexus 6P.

The code names “Bullhead” and “Angler” for two devices as circulated earlier are also said to be correct according to their sources.

The folks at Droid-life are pretty much sure that search engine giant Google will not change their mind by the end of this month and announce the new Nexus devices with some other names even when they know that things can always change between now and the other day.

If you rewind, then by now – according to rumors only, the information about the two devices has been built up as: the two phones named as Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will have 5.2 inch and 5.7 inch displays respectively.

Reportedly Nexus 6 (2015) or Nexus 6P – Made by Huawei

The Nexus 6P or Nexus 6 (2015) will reportedly be equipped with a 3500mAh battery, a Snapdragon 810 SoC and 3GB of RAM along with a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera. This large phone will be featuring Quad HD (or QHD) resolution of 1440p on the 5.7 inch screen. Interestingly a famous leaker @evleaks has also informed in mid-July about the Snapdragon 820 processor to be featured in Nexus 6 (2015) but at that time Qualcomm hadn’t mentioned that the chipset is set to be shipped in 2016. So we believe Snapdragon 810 will be the correct one for this phone. The phone is being reported to be priced not higher than $650 (or PKR ~68,000/-)

There are still a few days more than a week before Google will reveal the things in the September 29th event. Expect more interesting news related to these two phones in hot-talks. We are keenly having eyes on the upcoming Nexus devices and will update you accordingly.
