Staying in Infinix forums facilitating beta users and enthusiasts even with some alpha builds, finally the Android 5.1 Lollipop for Infinix Hot Note and Hot Note Pro is soon to roll out via OTA update.
Previously we reported when the Android Lollipop appeared for Infinix Hot Note devices in beta version. The software update was for geeks and enthusiasts who feel no trouble using tools for flashing firmware ROM to their devices. The most recent release of Android 5.1 for Infinix Hot Note and Hot Note Pro devices is now ready with Infinix’s custom XUI flavor on top.
Infinix staff has just thanked their users for the support and appreciations along with the announcement as the final build of Android Lollipop update for Infinix Hot Note X551 has been released and the future update will be focused on bug fixes as well as function additions. The update will be rolled out to consumers’ devices by OTA, however no date yet mentioned.
If you can’t wait to get this final build of Android 5.1 Lollipop on your Infinix Hot Note then you can still download and flash the build to your devices manually. But make sure you read through the feedback from users who have tried the final build as there may be some features missing that you want to have in your phone.
While the OTA roll out has not started yet, you can manually update your Infinix Hot Note to official Android 5.1 Lollipop.
