Samsung Electronics announced Galaxy TabPro S tablet, which is powered by the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. The new tablet can be attached to keyboard which also works as a back cover and turns the tablet into a laptop.
Galaxy TabPro S is the first tablet, powered by Windows, to support LTE Cat 6 for the fastest (theoratical) and most advanced wireless network. With enhanced fast charging features, Galaxy TabPro S’s battery can fully charge in 2.5 hours, and offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life for all day use.
From within, Galaxy TabPro S is equipped with the latest generation Intel Core M processor, which as a no-fan design specially for 2-in-1 tablet. It features 4.5W of power consumption to eliminate noise disruption and maximize efficiency. The tablet comes with 4GB of RAM with two storage options of 128 GB SSD or 256 GB SSD. As well, the tablet comes with Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro editions.

At 6.3 millimeters thin and weighing only 693 grams, Galaxy TabPro S is designed to be easily carried around all day. A full-sized keyboard cover comes included with the device which has a flexible hinge. The Pogo pin on the Galaxy TabPro S keyboard eliminates the need for pairing or charging separately. The keyboard’s touchpad emulates that of a PC to provide easy control, even when used in Stand Mode.
Delivering the very first Super AMOLED display for Windows to the market, Galaxy TabPro S features a multitouch screen and a deeper color contrast with 94 percent of natural tones. It has dual-angle viewing for the clearest display in any circumstance. It has a lightweight, power-efficient 12-inch AMOLED display.
In addition, a multi-port adapter (HDMI, USB Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen are also available for purchase separately. Galaxy TabPro S will be available globally, starting from February 2016.
Price of the tablet is not officially unveiled however according to source the prices of the tablet are as: The basic WiFi only variant with Windows 10 Home will cost you €999. Windows 10 Pro and the LTE support, will come with €100 each making an LTE variant + Windows 10 Pro worth of total €1,199. The information about which storage option will come in these prices, another source hints that the base price €999 is for the variant with 128 GB. The price for other storage option is still unknown but if follow the sequence, €100 may be added more for storage extension and the highest package of WiFi, LTE + Windows 10 Pro + 256 GB storage may cost €1,299 in total.
