Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have the ‘Best Smartphone Displays’, Says DisplayMate

Samsung’s latest duo of flagship smartphones, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge have the best smartphone displays today. That’s what the experts at DisplayMate have come to a point.

That’s the title which was bound to the Galaxy Note 5 last year, as well before that Galaxy S6 was wearing this crown. But now Galaxy S7 has proved to be the successor to its predecessors at least at the display department.

Although the screens of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are different as being manufactured from hard glass substrate and a flexible plastic substrate respectively, they both have performed at the top-notch when DisplayMate have trialed them.

Both the smartphones also differ at pixel density offering QHD resolution on the smaller 5.1″ display of Galaxy S7 and 5.5″ display of S7 Edge. Despite the fact, they both offer 24% brighter displays than the displays of previous Galaxy S6.

The tests by DisplayMate show that the Samsung’s latest flagships are better at handling automatic brightness with ability from learn user’s settings at different ambient situations. Noting about the “Always-on” feature, DisplayMate also states that the displays of both the phones are more power efficient.
