Vernee Apollo smartphone to feature deca-core Helio X20, Launching Next Month

Vernee Apollo will also feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage

Following a few recent rumors, Vernee Apollo is officially unveiled to feature the Helio X20 in a smartphone. Powered by MediaTek’s deca-core CPU the new smartphone will hit markets next month. There is no detail yet about price of the phone.

Vernee, a Chinese company also joined in MediaTek’s March 16 event where they presented its flagship Apollo smartphone that features the Helio X20 – a deca-core processor by MediaTek. While the company has not revealed more detail about the phone, according to reports the phone is also said to feature a 6GB RAM and will carry a 21 megapixel camera with Sony’s IMX230 image sensor, front facing camera will be 8 megapixel in count. It will be featuring 5.5-inch 2K display and will run on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).

This is a followup after MediaTek’s confirmation that the devices featuring the Helio X20 will start hitting the market next month.

Vernee’s website suggest that the company has two more devices to launch in coming weeks. In addition to the Vernee Apollo, there is a Vernee Thor and an unnamed device.

The Vernee Apollo will come in silver color and will release sometime in April 2016. Price of the smartphone will be announced next month.
