Hasselblad and DJI Launch 50MP A5D Aerial Camera Drone System

The Aerial Camera Drone Kit that Costs as much as $25,999. That’s 27 Lac 25 thousand Pakistani Rupees Approximately.

The two masters of their own fields join to build the healthiest product combined. The premium drone makers, DJI and the famous medium frame camera makers, Hasselblad will do in collaboration what they do best.

The new A5D-M600 Drone/Cam Kit is a combination of the two master pieces from both the companies which is bundled with the 50 megapixel medium frame camera. The kit includes DJI’s Matrice 600 drone platform and Hasselblad’s A5D -50c medium format aerial camera.

This is the first product after the collaboration of Hasselblad and JDI, which they announced about back in late 2015.

“The sensors are almost twice the size of those used in today’s best 35mm DSLR cameras and the A5D lens comes in 50mm.” – states Hasselblad. The camera has no moving parts internally and will come with an adapted HC 50mm F3.5 lens (focus set to infinity for aerial photography).

On the other hand DJI’s new Matrice 600 (M600 for short) platform individually costs USD $5,000. According to the specification, the drone can carry a up to 6kg (13.2lb). With no struggle it can carry the Hasselblad A5D camera and a Ronin-MX gimbal as states the Chinese manufacturer. The camera, the lens and a gimbal altogether will weigh around 4kg (8.95lb), which also justifies the company’s claim.

In technical terms, DJI’s M600 has the A3 flight controller, the Lightbridge 2 transmission system, six intelligent batteries, and advanced performance/safety systems.

The bundle package, A5D-M600 is available now for $25,999 (USD) / €24,400 (EUR) / ¥189,999 (Chinese Yuan) before tax.
