Another quarter, another smartphone from Infinix. The company has now announced about the availability of Infinix Zero 4 smartphone. This midrange device will cost your PKR. 22,999/-
Infinix Zero 4 is packed in a full metal body with slimmer outfit and a fingerprint scanner on the back just like other recent models from the company. The phone doesn’t on-screen navigation buttons, instead it has capacitive touch keys below the screen.
Design and Hardware
With 7.8mm thickness, the phone carries a 5.5 inch screen with FHD display resolution of 1920×1080 pixels serving at the pixel density of 440ppi. It’s has IPS display and 2.5D curved glass with Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
From inside, the Zero 4 is powered by MediaTek MT6753. This is insane that the previous model Zero 3 had Helio X10 which is newer than it’s in the model we are talking about here. On the other hand the Zero 4 has 3GB of RAM. Another variant Zero 4 Plus will feature 10-core Helio X20 with 4GB of RAM – read after the break.

Zero 4 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s own flavor of XOS on top. The phone has only 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. With 3200mAh battery, the phone supports 3 ampere charging with XCharge. According to claims, a 10 minute charge will allow you 300 minutes for voice calls, 360 minutes for music, 80 minutes for video playback, or 70 minutes for gaming. That pretty much impressive.
Zero 4 Camera: 16MP + 8MP
Zero 4 seems to have a plausible camera which was even promoted the most before launch. The 16.3 megapixel primary camera gives maximum resolution of 5376 x 3024 pixels (16:9). It has optical image stabilization (OIS) for both taking still shots or recording videos.
The camera has laser-autofocus for faster focusing and it has f/2.0 lens aperture and is supported with an LED flash. The camera supports 4x Sharper Zoom (don’t have a clue what it is, but it seems to be just another digital zoom with tweaks). Although the native camera software has a PRO mode to take photos manually that which allows you to control ‘manual focus’, ‘manual exposure’, ‘exposure value’, ‘shutter speed’, ‘ISO’, and/or ‘white balance’. Which is quiet good to have.
Front-facing camera has 8MP sensor with f/2.2 lens aperture which also has support of front facing flash for brighter selfies. It has a Pano-Selfies feature that allows to use panoramic feature to take selfies.
Infinix Zero 4 Plus (Expected Variant)
Note that the promotional video of Infinix Zero 4 above suggests to have both Helio X20 and 4GB of RAM which is another variant that’s also going to be revealed in a few days. It will be Infinix Zero 4 Plus for name. There is no price detail about this variant so far but we’ll update as it’s available.
