After launching Nokia 6 in China only a few weeks earlier, HMD Global has brought the brand name back to global market with the launch of Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 along with the Nokia 6 too. Not to mention the remake of Nokia 3310.
During the grand event of mobile technologies — Mobile World Congress, Nokia is entering back to global market of smartphone devices. These three are the initial budget devices with Nokia 6 features the most of them.
HMD Global has announced the availability of all three devices as they will go on sale starting from second quarter this year in various regions – not including US.
Nokia 6 – a rewind back
We already know that Nokia 6 has been one of the fastest selling device in China within a minute or even seconds. The global variant of this lower mid-ranger Nokia Android smartphone will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and will cost you €229 (or ~$242). The phone will be available in Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Silver, Copper.
Keep in mind that the Chinese version of Nokia 6 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage was sold at approximately €233 (or ~$245). Nokia 6 will also be available globally with this configuration but will cost around 70 euros more for €299. This global model of Nokia 6 will be available in Arte Black limited edition.

Nokia 5 – A Smaller sibling of the 6
Available in Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper – the Nokia 5 has a bit smaller screen and will cost €189 globally. The device has a 5.2 inch 720p HD display. The Nokia 5 shares the same chipset Snapdragon 430 with its 6 counterpart but the RAM is dropped to 2GB along side 16GB of storage.
Main camera is also lowered in Nokia 5 with 13 megapixels while the front-facing camera remains the same. This phone also comes with single speaker unlike the Nokia 6. Nokia 5 indeed has a smart amplifier but without Dolby Atmos.

Nokia 3 – The budget Nokia Android Smartphone
The Nokia 3 is another piece of hardware from HMD Global that makes the phone cost even lower with the price point at €139. The phone resembles the design language that we have seen in Lumia smartphones with aluminium frame and polycarbonate back panel.
On the front, this budget smartphone still features a Gorilla Glass on top of 5-inch display with the 720p HD resolution. This affordable Nokia 3 is however powered by a MediaTek’s MTK 6737 quad-core chipset. Packed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the phone offers expandable memory via microSD card up to 128GB.
Rear camera is even lowered to 8 megapixel however the front camera still remains the same as its large siblings with 8MP sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 1.12µm pixel size.
