The only thing that is yet official is that Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on March 29th. Announcement will be made during Galaxy Unpacked event in New York later this month.
Everything about Galaxy S8 seems to be the mess with rumors and speculations. Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S8 has already crossed rumors and speculations rounds and started appearing in leaked images.
We have seen purported leaked images and specs as well. Some of them are from unknown sources while some are reported by well known sources.
Following multiple feeds, currently we are sharing with you a bunch of leaked images from various sources. But most recently we came to know that the April 21 release date of the Galaxy S8 has been shifted a week later, reportedly.
Evan Blass, the man behind @evleaks, has to say that the release date of Galaxy S8 is April 28th. Even though the launch date is now official as March 29th and remains intact, Samsung seems to have delayed the release of the smartphone.
According to report, no specific reason was provided for the delayed release. However it’s for sure that the Korean giant looks far more cautious with its next flagship after the ill-fated Note 7. For the evens and odds, LG G6 is supposed to have an edge on the sales as it gets an another week standing alone in the market.
Reports suggest that Samsung plans on revealing two handsets on the later this month – Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The former one reportedly features a 5.8-inch display while the latter will have 6.2-inch screen. Both devices are identical with no difference at all but the screen size. Even the screens will support identical QHD+ resolution (18.5:9 aspect ratio) with Super AMOLED display. The duo will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and will feature Bixby, Samsung’s digital assistant.
Now the leaked images.
These images were uploaded on Slashleaks recently with the purported Galaxy S8 device in hands. These hands-on images are actually ones of the clearer leaks we have seen.
It seems to be the larger variant of Galaxy S8 as it appears in hands. From the photos the the phone appears to have 3.5mm audio jack intact as well as it will have a USB Type-C port along side a mouthpiece and a speaker grill. On the right side it has a power button and on the let side volume rocker is place.
In the league of dual-camera, the Galaxy S8 still will have a single camera which seems to be pretty much larger than before. On one side there is an LED flash with other sensors while on the other side there’s a fingerprint scanner.
In another report, BGR shared another set of leaked images showing real hands-on shots of Galaxy S8.
These images also reveal identical components to what we have seen above. So you can expect these to be much real to release Galaxy S8.
