As you all know about the very first Android phone from Nokia, the Nokia X, launched back in February is now available in Pakistan for Rs. 13,800/- PKR with 1 year official local warranty. Nokia X is supposed to be available in bright green, bright red, cyan, yellow, black and white. Currently in Pakistan they may be available in black which obviously most of you will want to buy but it will be available in other colours too soon.

Here we have a bright red one, thanks to Nokia Pakistan for sending us a unit for review. I personally would have loved to have it in black variant. The Unboxing

Nokia X maintains the recyclable packaging factor with traditional Nokia box design with blue colour and profile pictures of the device in different available colours.

One of the four sides of the box discloses the key features which include the display features, the processor, SIM card information, sensors etc. and connectivity options as well as a few software features namely the Fastlane.

The colour of the device can be identified from the bottom of the box with a cutout tab. The red one as shown below.

The Nokia X has dual IMEI as of course there is dual SIM support where each SIM is identified by their individual IMEI number.

Sliding out the inner box with the tab attached reveals the Nokia X residing on the top wrapped inside a plastic bag.

Underneath device and then the tray there is the combined compartment containing all the required and needed accessories that you will get with the package. There is a user manual, stereo earphones, travel charger and the battery.

The breakdown of the items from the box is as below.

  • Nokia BN-01 1500 mAh Battery
  • Nokia AC-20 MicroUSB Charger
  • Nokia WH-108 Stereo HeadSet with Mic and Call Key
  • Instructions Manual

If you are thinking about the missing USB data cable, then yes! it’s not provided with the package and the charger comes with a fixed micro USB cable. That’s all what you can see below.

With a smartphone usability as normal consumer the USB data cable is not mostly required more than pictures and content transfer but that’s one of the must have items with a smartphone and should have been in there.

We have the Nokia X here with us for a few more days and we’ll try to bring anything you may need to know for buying. You can ask anything below in the comments which we’ll try to answer in our upcoming review of the low cost Android powered Nokia X smartphone.
