Sony Xperia C3 has been announced officially. Sony Mobile introduced Xperia C3, a smartphone dedicatedly designed for selfies and social sharing which comes with a 5MP front-facing camera and soft LED flash on front.
The Xperia C3 is powered by the Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.2GHz Quad-core processor and Adreno 305 GPU. It will be supported with 1GB of RAM including 8GB internal storage with expandable memory up to 32GB (microSD card), an auto focus 8MP primary/rear camera with an LED flash. Xperia C3 comes with a 5.5 IPS display of 720p resolution, backed up by Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2.

Thing to notice is that the front facing camera, which is the most highlighted feature of this selfie phone, does not seem to have an auto focus capability as it is not mentioned anywhere officially. However the LED flash on the front with a soft lightning is something new to the smartphones’
The Sony Xperia C3 will be available in black, white and mint colors, and will launch globally starting in August 2014 being China the first launch market. The price is not yet disclosed but a hint is that it will be a mid-range priced smartphone with all those features as said Calum MacDougall the director of Xperia Marketing.
