Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7 2017 edition launched in Pakistan

Samsung has recently launched a new range of Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7 2017 edition smartphones in Pakistan. The upper mid-rangers were globally launched last month intended to first hit Russian market.

The new Galaxy A (2017) hit the Pakistani market along side the availability in UK. Galaxy A 2017 has a metal & glass design, long-lasting battery, advanced camera, and improved processor. Galaxy A7 LTE Dual SIM smartphone features a large 5.7 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, Galaxy A5 LTE Dual SIM has a 5.2 inch full HD Super AMOLED display and the Galaxy A3 LTE Dual SIM features a 4.7 inch an HD Super AMOLED display.

For the first time on the Galaxy ‘A’ series, the smartphone offers IP68 standard – water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand the elements, including rain, sweat, sand and dust. The Galaxy A users can easily back up data and images through Samsung Cloud.

The Samsung Galaxy ‘A’ series smartphones are enriched with a hi-tech finger-print scanner to ensure easy and ultra-secure access to all your personal data and more efficient content management. These classy devices feature longer-lasting batteries with Fast-charging capability for continuous and heavy usage, so you don’t run out of battery power through those critically busy days. The Galaxy ‘A’ 2017 series is available in four stylish colors including Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud.

The Galaxy A7 runs on a 1.6GHz, Octa Core processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory (extendable up to 256GB). The A7 has a 16MP camera/flash with OIS and 3300mAh battery with fast charging feature. The Galaxy A5 runs on a 1.6GHz Octa Core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory (extendable up to 256GB). It has a 16MP camera with OIS and 2900mAh battery with fast charging feature. The Galaxy A3 runs on a Quad Core processor featuring a 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal space (extendable up to 256GB). It has a 16MP camera and a 2300 mAh battery.

Price and Availability

Like global launch, Samsung Pakistan has also not yet revealed prices in the local market, nor the availability of the devices. But as the devices have been launched in the country in a local event, expect the devices to be available in the markets soon if they are not already.

However according to early official launch in Malaysia, The prices of these new Galaxy A devices are as follows: Galaxy A5 for RM 1,699 (or ~$383) and Galaxy A7 is for RM 1,899 (or ~$430). Galaxy A3 wasn’t available in Malaysia.

According to other reports Galaxy A3 and A5 will cost €329 and €429 respectively in Europe (or ~$350 and ~$450 respectively). You can expect the similar prices in Pakistan, as in Europe. Our guess is PKR. 35,000/-, PKR. 46,000/-, PKR. 58,000/- for Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 respectively.

In a recent availability in UK, just like other European markets, Galaxy A7 won’t be available. However the prices go as £279 for Galaxy A3 and £369 for Galaxy A5. They also make up similar prices as in Euros.
