You probably have had a glimpse of the Google Nexus 5 on the Google store a couple of days ago when Google accidently pushed the product page up on the store and then took it down. Finally Google has released Google Nexus 5 officially and is available to purchase on Google store at $349 for 16GB and $399 for 32GB.
The next nexus phone, Nexus 5 has been in rumors/talks (unofficial) since a couple of weeks. Today’s story reignited the whole thing when Google accidently put the Nexus 5 up in the devices list on Google Play store.
Google has chosen the “Android KitKat” as a name for the next version of its mobile operating system. The KitKat page on the Android website has been up revealing to be the next codename for Android 4.4. It was supposed to be the Android 5.0 code named as “Key Lime Pie” before.

Nik Collection by Google, a re-branded version of Nik Software is now available for $149 at much discounted price from the original $500. The full bundle includes HDR Efex Pro 2, Silver Efex Pro 2, Sharpener Pro 3, Color Efex Pro 4, Viveza 2, and Dfine 2.
“Superior” the codename and “GT-I9260” the model name is being supposed to be the next Google Nexus device which, according to the said specifications, stands somewhere between the current Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S III. Leaving the screen size at 4.65 inches and the storage at 16GB, what’s increased is the same dual-core processor that is clocked at 1.5 GHz, Primary rear camera 8MP, secondary front-facing camera 1.9MP and importantly the addition of SD card support.
VimpelCom Ltd. (the parent company of Mobilink Pakistan) has finalised the deal with Google to bring carrier billing for Google Play (the app store for Android devices) to its customers all over the globe. In result, the customers of Mobilink in Pakistan (or other child companies of VimpelCom in other markets) will be able to buy apps, games, books and other content from Google Play store via their mobile accounts. No credit cards or debit cards will be required.
Google’s first Android tablet named “Nexus 7”, which had reportedly been in rumors and leaks for a few days, now has been officially announced by Google. Company’s first tablet visually has some great pin points with regards to the build size, weight, resolution, processor and some extra add-ons in hardware e.g. NFC if compared to league of its size from earlier days.

Microsoft is currently planning to release the full suite of Microsoft Office for Apple’s iPad and Android tablets. “November” of this year has been reported to be the month for both launches.
