Nokia has confirmed that the Nokia 808 PureView will be started rolling out in May. However the first markets will be Russia and India. No doubt these are two of the big markets where Nokia has its sales grip, other countries and markets will be announced in near future.

Just two days after the announcement of Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia Developers Community has held a competition for developers to win the monster 41 Megapixels Camera Phone. Developers will need to create or migrate their apps to the new Symbian Belle platform style using the Symbian Qt Quick Components.
The thing is really not the quantity of megapixels at which a better camera can be identified. And also the thing is not to neglect the "way to use" behind that quantity of megapixels. Nokia says "the combination - of 41 Megapixels, Carl Zeiss optics and the brand new pixel-oversampling technology - isn't about shooting pictures billboards sizes. Instead, it’s about creating amazing pictures at normal, manageable sizes.

The camera in X7 is just similar to the ones in Nokia C7 and E7 but a bit different in Nokia E6 as per the specifications. Before using the camera in X7 I suggested the one in E6 must be better amongst the Symbian^3 range (not including N8) as the specification wise the E6 was having a bit larger aperture and in fact did produce some better results when shot indoor than C7 and E7. But results from X7 aren't that bad, in fact they are pretty much better than the ones from C7 or E7 and even E6.
Apple has published the original photos taken with 8MP camera in the new iPhone 4S. Well in straight words, they look great. Impressive! while hinting about the camera features, Apple listed the HDR function that has been given by default.
Apple claims: "With 8 megapixels and all-new optics, this just might be the best camera ever on a mobile phone. It just might be the only camera you’ll ever need. And if you think that’s amazing, wait until you see your photos.".
