WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging app, has recently added the most anticipated voice calling feature in their Android version. While the feature is yet to be available over iOS platform, a version for Windows Phone platform is reportedly.
A month ago WhatsApp started beta testing with a select users to test their voice calling feature. The feature is now available for other public but still require an invitation call from a user already having the WhatsApp calling feature.
WhatsApp, the most popular instant messaging app for smartphones, has now been launched for web browser. Initially supported on Google Chrome, the new “WhatsApp for Web” is supposed to be supported on other browsers soon.
Recently Nokia Conversations announced about the software update on Nokia Asha 501 which brought the user interface changes and features upgrades to user ends. The WhatsApp addition was prominently disclosed which was announced during the last month’s Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi. The update brought the core changes in the software e.g. Voice over IP support along with the API to help third-party software developers. You can now download WhatsApp for free on your iPhone but need to purchase an annual subscription of $0.99 per year after one year from the date of first use. WhatsApp gives first year for free to use before ending your free subscription and asking you for $0.99 to renew the subscription for another year.
