You must have heard about the recently leaked(claimed to be) screen shot of Windows Phone Tango showing Google+ as well as Skype integrated into the OS. I didn’t put my ears on it that interestingly on first but later when I saw some commenter mentioned about the fake validity of the screen as there were prominent(if look closely) factors in the screenshot to be it false.
This is “Nokia Collection” in Marketplace which will not show up in all Windows Phone devices from other OEMs but only in the ones from Nokia. This is what they were talking about back in February 2011 when both companies Nokia and Microsoft partnered. For now these are available for Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710. Lumia 900 is yet near to its launch. We did hold on to this topic of Nokia Collection before and wanted to brief about it once we had a Nokia Winodws Phone device in hands.

Correcting earlier story of $100 Million, The Microsoft’s marketing push on Windows Phone will count up to $200 Million and not $100 Million which will not only be helped by Nokia for Nokia Ace but other hardware manufacturers or OEMs e.g. Samsung for their Windows Phone line-up. More of it is the same as we learnt earlier that all it will be campaigned in United States and on AT&T. However Nokia will be outspending Microsoft 2-to-1.
The guys at pocketnow have got their hands on and leaked the images of Nokia Ace, an unannounced Windows Phone from Nokia. The images are supposed to be as same of another rumoured Nokia Lumia 900 resembling Lumia 800 but in a bigger body with readjustment of components and features as well as the addition of front-facing camera.
WhatsApp was first released for Windows Phone a couple of months ago and has been updating with various bug fixes and improvements. Until now a very required feature of Group chat wasn’t an option in WhatsApp for Windows Phone. Windows Phone Tango will be announced at CES 2012 with new devices from Nokia, unannounced Nokia Lumia 719 and Nokia Lumia 900. As well the Tango update will be rolled-out to existing Windows Phone devices currently running Mango. Next to Tango is Apollo which is considered to be a major release for Windows Phone devices with high-end hardware like dual-core processors at Nokia Connection 2012.
After considering the battery issue persisted with some Lumia 800 owners, Nokia has released an official statement regarding this issue which actually tells that they at Nokia admittedly have identified the problem which was spotted, not at many, but at a limited sets of Lumia 800’s which can easily be fixed via next software update. Or if you don’t want to wait, Nokia can arrange for a replacement phone.
eBuddy XMS is already available for iOS, Android and BlackBerry devices. And recently eBuddy XMS beta was released for Nokia’s S40, Symbian and MeeGo devices. But that probably was not all by the developers behind eBuddy. Soon after that now eBuddy XMS beta has also been released for Windows Phone.
