Symbian Anna starting to deliver in July for existing devices N8, E7, C7, C6-01


Stephen Elop, Nokia’s CEO, announced today in Nokia Connections event in Singapore that Symbian Anna will start delivering in July to existing Symbian ^3 devices Nokia N8, E7, C7 and C6-01. Elop also mentioned that the roll out process will be completed until end of August. That says that the users might have to wait until end of August to see Symbian Anna on their devices.

Today’s press release by Nokia Communications reveals about the Symbian Anna will start shipping to existing devices.

Nokia also restated its commitment to Symbian. This July, Nokia will start shipping Nokia N8s, E7s, C7s and C6-01s with the new Symbian Anna software update, which includes a number of user experience improvements. By the end of August, existing owners of these devices can also download Symbian Anna. And over the next 12 months Nokia plans to bring up to 10 new Symbian-based smartphones to market.
