Highway Racer: The simplicity in racing

Ok! don’t bash on me when I am going to tell you about a game which is as simple as you guys have loved in your old ages. But after when I came to know about “Highway Racer” and headed over to Ovi Store to install on my N8, the screen shots just made me recall those games which I always played interestingly.

Do you remember the gaming in the golden back days when you were tired and lying down with a simple handheld gaming device in your hands and just directing a car from left to right and right to left with full peace of mind?  Highway Racer does that job in new era of mind boggling games leaving you restless.

Now when mobile phones have turned into smart phones and the games have entered into the age of 3D even with heavy graphics, Highway Race coming into this age really made me write about it.

I am writing about it because I loved playing such a game. I still love it. There is no strategy involved. Just keep both of your thumbs on the left and right buttons and keep driving on.

The game itself is all in it. The top thing about it, is that it’s been developed by one of our talented Pakistani Developers Orison Technologies. We previously posted about Cricket Companion which was also a product of Pakistani developers. We’ll love to see more of them and keep publishing about these productive and entertainment apps.

Highway Racer is a flash based very light weight game for Nokia N8, C7, E7 and C6-01. But it will work on other devices with same resolution of e.g. S60v5 devices including Nokia 5800, N97 etc.
