Ovi Suite updated to 3.1.1.90

Ovi Suite update 3.1.1.90 has already been rolled-out since day before but including myself many others couldn’t have that update notification to their Ovi Suites. I am not sure about others but here is a reason which can cause the fact that you won’t receive a notification for the Ovi Suite update right on the time when it’s available.

If you remember, we have posted an article about “Automatic download Ovi Suite updates”. This is the option, if you have enabled it, which won’t notify you about any available update before it downloads the update fully onto your computer. This will notify you only once the download has completed and ask your permission to install it when ready.

Note that in following screen, the Ovi Suite update has already been downloaded and I am being notified when it’s ready to install.

However Nokia’s software updates also based on regions and they don’t roll-out the updates to all of its customers at once.
