Nokia Conversations has just announced that Nokia Belle (exactly what known as Symbian Belle until now) will start rolling out to existing device (Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia E6, Nokia X7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia C7, and Nokia Oro) in February 2012. While it is also mentioned that an enhanced versions of Nokia N8, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6-01 have now started their journey from the factories to the shops with Nokia Belle preinstalled, arriving first in China, then around the world.
So it does mean that the future versions of Symbian known as Carla and Donna will also be named as Nokia Carla and Nokia Donna. Can you tell us what could be the reason behind changing this?
May be; Belle really doesn’t look like the traditional Symbian OS and it’s better to remove the term “Symbian” before it actually dies?
But it surely tells that the current build of Symbian Belle 111.030.0609 is not the final one. More updates are due until it finally arrives to the devices in Feb with a new name “Nokia Belle”.

Nokia destroyed symbian (epoc-psion) vision back in 2000....choosed the worst part from symbian to develop (s60 non touchscreen ui) back in 2006
(when they allready had s90 touchscreen OS/UI capable of run s80 apps)...
playng with development for 10 years to create one good enough touch screen UI (symbian^3 and ,later in 2011, symbian belle ) .....
and now they are killing symbian literally......But the question is : WHY ???
So is true Mr Elop is killing symbian ...but even so wp7 or 7.x will not sell even
10 % of symbian sales...
Nokia without symbian is another (M$) smartphone maker.
