Adobe, a few months ago, released Photoshop Touch for Android devices, but of course – as expected – the company has now released Photoshop Touch for iPad 2. Photoshop Touch is one in the creative Touch Suite of apps Adobe specially created for touch interfaces on Tablets. (not sure as it’s seen only over New Zealand store – by mistake? may be)
Photoshop Touch, as described on the store, does support the core features of Adobe Photoshop. Namely it supports the basic and most-frequent used features. With simple finger gestures, users can combine multiple photos into layered images, make edits and apply professional effects. The touch based Photoshop app also provides advanced selection tools and adjustments.
Facebook sharing or email sharing is also supported within the app and you can import images from Facebook, Google Image Search and your camera roll. Original iPad users will not be able to use Photoshop Touch as it works only on iPad 2 and requires iOS 5.
As for now the app on iTunes App Store is only available for New Zealand store and is expected to be available for other regions soon.
Also note that the price of the Photoshop Touch on iTunes is NZ$13.99. The expected global price of the app should be US$ 9.99/- as it is in Android Market.
Update: As doubted, the the application has been pulled out of the store. See how many of the lucky users could have grabbed that special app.
