1- Simply log in to your Gmail account on your computer and look for "Chat and SMS" box on the left pane.
2- Enter the mobile number (Mobilink only). And click "Send SMS"
If you have that number already stored in your Google Contacts, it will be populated automatically by the contact name.
If you are sending an SMS to a new number that is not in your Google Contacts list, you will be prompted with a dialog as shown below to provide a contact name to be stored for later use. Just enter a name and click “Save”
3- Once you have clicked "Send SMS" and/or "Save" button above, a chat session will be started and a popup will be appeared on bottom-right corner of the same page.
That’s it. You can start sending text messages to the chosen contact/number. You will not be charged any fee as this part of the service is free for Gmail users. Only thing you should take care of is the SMS credit.
Once you have started a chat session with a mobile user, that mobile user will have an option to reply back.
