Although there were rumors, Nokia hasn’t made any disclosure of such a fact that their engineers were working on a tablet device but recently a most confirmed statement has been out of the senior official. Marko Ahtisaari, head of design at Nokia, has stated to Finnish magazine Kauppalehti Optio, that these days he’s spending a third of his time working on the new tablet. Not more than this was disclosed but it’s assumed that Nokia is expected to launch the Windows 8 based tablet later this year.
“We are working on it” he responded on a question as reported by Reuters.
Making you note that there was already a speculation around from Taiwan that the device in question is a 10-inch, Qualcomm-powered Windows 8 tablet, which would be the first product from Nokia in tablet market as as result of close working relationship between Nokia and Microsoft’s.
Well the image above is just one of the concept designs from fans of the brands but we believe Marko must be doing one of his bests designing the first ever Windows 8 based tablet from Nokia and that will be more than just a stretched design of Nokia N9 and Lumia 800. We really admired his ability seeing experiencing a piece of excellence – the Nokia N9
What do you think about it? would you have any interest owning a Windows 8 based tablet which will be from Nokia? Let us know in comments.
