Nokia 808 PureView now hits stores in Pakistan – Available for Rs. 55,000/-

The 41 Megapixels monster camera smartphone Nokia 808 PureView has arrived in Pakistan with Advance Telecom – The official Nokia Partner. Nokia Pakistan has also been posting on its facebook fan page about the giant camera phone. Advance Telecom has offered Nokia 808 PureView for Rs. 55,000/- which approximately is EUR €465 or USD $582.

There may be other prices in stores in the market. Take the Cellmart for example, the store is selling the phone for Rs. 52,999/- with same official 1 year warranty from Advance Telecom. – I am not sure if there is any difference in the retail package content.

Nokia recently (last week) organised an event in Karachi to host a sneak preview of Nokia 808 PureView for bloggers to meetup and discuss about this 41 Megapixesls camera smartphone. We remember that Nokia’s plans were to launch Nokia 808 PureView first in Russia and India and in result the launch had a delay of about half a month and now officially launched in India just a few moments ago for about €485 Euros.

If you do not yet familiar with the the Nokia 808 PureView, let me tell you that it has a 41 megapixel camera sensor with Carl Zeiss optics that uses Nokia’s PureView technology “the pixels binning” to combine multiple pixels in a single pixel that creates high quality sharper images. With the use of the technology 3x lossless digital zoom can be achieved that is said to be better or at least equal to an optical zoom. Most powerful Xenon flash also available to shoot indoor with low light. It can record videos of up to 1080p resolution.
