Nikon introduces first Android based camera Coolpix S800c – Price, Detail and Specifications

Well that’s not a rumour any more. After much speculation Nikon has officially announced its very first Android powered digital compact camera, Coolpix S800c 16 Megapixels CMOS Sensor, 10x Optical Zoom. The camera will have full hands on the Android platform with all its features and apps. Android 2.3 – Gingerbread is the stock build of the OS that will be driving the camera at its full. You will be able to take pictures and share on the popular social networks with your friends via all those apps that are available in the Google Play. Google Play store will be available with thousands of apps for this camera. You can browse the web, check you emails, watch videos on youtube and play games etc.

Specially to discuss about the cloud storage, as Google Play will be under your finger tips to get apps out of it, dropbox like apps will also be available for you. Additionally Nikon has its own app and sharing/storage service called “my Picturetown” that will be available with the camera – read the following specs for available storage.
