Nikon’s Android Based Camera Coolpix S800c – Initial Dose of Leaked Images

A few days ago we had a spoon of a rumour about Nikon’s plans to bring an Android based P&S camera from the Coolpix series. Today Nikon Rumors has come up with another dose of the news along with a cool and curvy Coolpix camera images. The above posted image of the camera is supposed to be the Nikon Coolpix S800c based on Android as mentioned by the Nikon Rumors. Check following the Android User Interface running on the LCD monitor more like the Gingerbread with all the stuff *Unneeded for a camera*.

It’s no surprise that now the cameras will provide features like social sharing but providing all that stuff in a camera as shown above is a little doubt to me. Is it fake? Well we can’t say a word on it and will see what Nikon has planned for near future.

Unfortunately, that’s all for now, there is no additional detail on the said camera. However on another note, Nikon is going to announce officially about this camera on August 22nd, 2012, along side other Coolpix models which may include P7200 and P7700.
