An alternative – more or less – to Skype or other VOIP services providers, Viber has disclosed their future support for platforms like Nokia’s Series 40 OS for feature phones, Symbian and Samsung’s Bada OS. Viber VOIP application is currently available for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and RIM’s BlackBerry.
In addition to the introductory application release for new platforms, Viber is also going to update its app for Windows Phone OS with the support of 720p high definition video calling.
According to the report, Viber has shared the achievement of an impressive milestone of 100 million users network around the globe. Viber has been constantly increasing with its user base from 50 million in February and later 70 million in May – PhoneArena mentioned.
We’ll update about the availability of the app for said platforms once it happens.
