After rumours, finally Microsoft has silently released Office Mobile for iOS. Office Mobile is free to download from iTunes and is available for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.1 or later. The app however can be installed on iPad but an iPad version has not yet been released and there is no date yet so far as well as the Android version has not seen the daylight.
The key features of Microsoft Office Mobile for iPhone include “access”, “view” and “edit” your Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint documents from virtually anywhere. Edit while offline, Cloud storage etc. Checkout the full features list at iTunes app page. The app is currently available for US store for the time being.
