We have already been hearing from sources about Nokia Lumia 1020 to be launched in Pakistan soon next month sometime. On the other hand Nokia Pakistan has also started to take pre-orders for the 41MP PureView camera smartphone in their Nokia Care Centers countrywide. The real actual price has not been disclosed but a price range is PKR 70,000 to 75,000.
Well at such a big price the phone of course targets gadget freaks with heavy pockets but that does not even cross the expensive iPhones in price. if you have been waiting for superb camera phone Nokia Lumia 1020 to arrive in Pakistan so you could buy one. There is a chance for you to get your hands on it before anyone else. You just need to deposit PKR 5,000/- to pre-order the Lumia 1020 at your nearest Nokia Care Center. Additionally it brings a chance to win another Lumia 625 if you are counted in the first 50 bookings and are lucky enough to get one.
One thing we have objection with is the late timing of the arrival of it. It’s already been a month now when the newer Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320 and Lumia 2520 tablet have been been launched globally and are more being focused worldwide, we’ll still have to buy an older device. However if you are a photography enthusiast than sure the Lumia 1020 could be your best choice even amongst the newer devices. One distinct factor in newer devices which can not be compared are their sizes. Lumia 1320, 1520 are 6 inch while the tablet Lumia 2520 is 10.1 inch. So you have a pretty well defined idea what you can buy or for what you can wait.
Here we are getting eager to get our hands on this camera smartphone for review and to check how well it can stand against other contenders from Samsung, LG and Apple. Specially we have to see how matchable performance of the camera is to the previous 41MP Nokia 808 PureView.
If you missed earlier, Home Shopping offered the same smartphone for PKR 85,000/- back in August which is now listing for 75,000/- without warranty. They offer warranty for additional PKR 2,000/- So we believe the devices they have are not official from Nokia Pakistan.
