Nokia X goes on sale in Pakistan – Partners with Telenor

Nokia X, one of the first Android smartphones from the Finnish manufacturer, has landed for Pakistani consumers. With partnership of Telenor, Nokia Pakistan has released the first Android smartphone from the Nokia X family, the Nokia X and is on sale for Rs. 13,800/- PKR.

Last month Nokia announced its first Android devices Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. One of them, the Nokia X is now available in Pakistan with 1 year official warranty. Nokia X family is built on Android, AOSP API level 16. That’s very first version of Jelly Bean 4.1.x. All of the three Android smartphones from Nokia support dual-SIM. A range of third-party apps comes pre-installed, including BBM, Plants vs. Zombies 2, Viber, Vine and Twitter. As many more as you can fit can be obtained from the Nokia Store, third-party app stores and sideloaded.

Nokia X is available in bright green, bright red, cyan, yellow, black and white. 10.4mm thin, monobody design sporting 4” scratch-proof display along with a 3MP camera. The device runs on the Nokia X Software Platform and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual Core Processor and 512MB RAM. It has a 4GB built-in memory and 32GB expandable memory. Nokia X also offers access to popular Microsoft services, including Skype, OneDrive, Outlook.com etc. Customers will also benefit from Telenor’s free internet for 6 months on purchase of the Nokia X from anywhere in Pakistan.
