During the Microsoft’s Build Developer Conference 2014, Nokia announced three new Lumia smartphones with the upcoming software update in the Windows Phone lineup, the Windows Phone 8.1. The new Lumia 2014 colour palette is the key introduction of bright shades including orange, green, yellow, and black and white. The three smartphones include the flagship Nokia Lumia 930, the first ever Dual-SIM Windows Phone the Lumia 630 and the affordable one Lumia 635.
Nokia Lumia 930 is the latest upcoming flagship to succeed not only one but multiples with all the upgraded hardware and the updated Windows Phone 8.1 software. We’ve seen all the interesting features coming into the Windows Phone 8.1, the hardware upgrades in the Lumia 930 are mostly borrowed from the phablet Lumia 1520. The 2.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, the full HD 5″ display of 1080p resolution, 20 megapixels PureView camera with ZEISS optics and optical image stabilization, Nokia Rich Recording.
The Lumia 930 will roll out globally in June and will be available from $599 (excluding taxes and subsidies)
On the other hand with the 4.5 inch screen, IPS display and Gorilla Glass 3, Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 are packed with Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 and 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expandable microSD card support. 5MP camera. The Lumia 635 will be available in high-gloss finish and will support 4G/LTE networks while the Lumia 630 will support upto 3G networks and will come in both the single SIM variant and a first time ever Dual-SIM with Windows Phone. Both variants of Lumia 630 will be available in matt finish. Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 are built up with changeable covers.
The Lumia 630 is expected to roll out in May in Asia, Russia, China, India and Europe from $159 for single SIM variant and $169 for dual-SIM variant (excluding taxes and subsidies). Lumia 635 will start rolling out globally this summer including US and will cost at $189 (excluding taxes and subsidies).
Once again the Windows Phone 8.1 software update will be rolled out to all of the Lumia devices running Windows Phone 8 software. These include the range from Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020 to Lumia 520. Checkout the feature list from Windows Phone 8.1.
