Google, yesterday at Google I/O event, has unveiled the upcoming Android L Developer Preview which got much talks about its new user interface having resemblance with the iOS 8’s flat user interface. But we just found that there is another state of the Android L where it matches more like Nokia’s X Platform.
That’s the combination of Notifications and Lock Screen! notifications on Android L are getting a big change while being presented on the lockscreen. That means when your phone is locked with the display turned-on, your lockscreen will be serving the notifications in slices/panes giving you a quick access to them.
The notifications will be interactive where you would be able to double-tap on the slice/notification to go directly to the app or you could be able to swipe them away to dismiss.
There are of course other features which we could see on Android L, but this post was mainly intended for the similarity that Android L’s lock screen does looks and feeds like the one on Nokia X Platform we have seen in Nokia X series of Android devices.
