Microsoft Screen Sharing HD-10: Share your Lumia experience on the big screen

“MoreLumia” event yesterday in Berlin brought not only the new Lumia devices but also the supportive accessories are much impressive in sense. One of them is the Microsoft Screen Sharing adapter to let you share your Lumia on-screen experience on the big screen in your lounge.

Whatever you do on your Lumia smartphone, you can see it in full HD (1080p) on the big screen. For extant, you can enjoy movies in full HD on the big screen, played directly from your Lumia smartphone via wireless display adapter, browse and explore websites on the big screen, take pictures with your Lumia device and then flick through them on a large screen and share with friends and family. You can present power point slides or any other services like Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) whatever, you can push it to the screen in front of you. In fact you can play games on the big screen and enjoy them with your friends and family.

How does it work?

The HD-10 accessory comes in two items. One is Microsoft Screen Sharing adapter and the other one is the NFC disck. They both can be attached as well as they can work wirelessly from a limited distance.

• Microsoft Screen Sharing adapter is connected to your screen via the HDMI cable and powered by a micro USB cable. It then connects wirelessly to your Lumia device. Simply tap your NFC-enabled Lumia against it and it’s instantly connected.
• The NFC disc on the Microsoft Screen Sharing adapter is removable which you can place little far from the adapter, such as on the table in front of your sitting area in TV lounge.

HD-10 is compatible with Lumia smartphones with screen projection and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracast products on any operating system. The accessory is priced at $79 USD or €79 EUR and is available in white or black starting later this month. After converting currency as today the price in Pakistan makes it around PKR 8,000/-
