Today at IFA 2014 Samsung announced a very new design in the smartphone world, the Samsung Note Edge. The Note Edge provides users with a new way to access information, engage with their mobile device and express their personality. Unlike the other smartphones, phablets or tablets the Galaxy Note Edge brings a unique curved screen at one edge (called “Edge Screen”) provides quick access to frequently used apps, alerts and device functionality all with the swipe of a thumb. The notifications are directly presented on the Edge Screen which helps avoiding visual disturbance while watching videos without disturbing their viewing.
Galaxy Note Edge will be available in “Charcoal Black” and “Frost White” in select markets through Samsung’s retail channels, e-commerce and carriers later this year.
