[Hands-on] Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Gear S – Pakistan Launch

So finally, we had our hands on with the latest phablet from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 4 and the wearable Gear S smart watch. We were at the event held by Samsung to launch these devices and here we have for you, the overview of the devices with hands-on pictures.

The event however was purposely held for launching Samsung latest products countrywide, it also entertained the invitees where the brilliant and well known celebrities were present in the event. Checkout the event coverage in an other blog post.

Let’s go on with the hands-on experience of these newly announced devices in Pakistan.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Galaxy Note 4 comes with extraordinary 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display with clearer and more vivid images with deep contrast, better viewing angles, and response times as fast as a millionth of a second, providing a tremendous viewing experience. The Galaxy Note 4 also offers an improved Fingerprint Scanner, to secure personal data and the world’s first UV sensor in a mobile device.

The Galaxy Note 4 also sports an advanced camera system that is able to reproduce brighter and clearer images. The device is equipped with a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera featuring a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer that counter-balances camera shake and automatically extends exposure time in dark settings. In addition, a 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera with a wider f/1.9 aperture offers a default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle so users can take the best group shots with friends.

Samsung Gear S

Samsung Gear S is smart watch from the Korean manufacturer which has exchangeable straps and clasps. Like most wearable devices, the Gear S can work with your Galaxy smartphone or Note but as well it can work independently. The Gear S comes with the support of SIM card and you can connect to a 2G and 3G network directly via this smart watch without the help of any other device.

The screen size of Gear S is 2 inches with the resolution of 360 x 480 pixels. It comes with the 4 GB internal memory and the 512MB of RAM. Powering up with a 1 GHz Dual-core processor, the Gear S packs with a set of sensors including accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, heart rate, barometer and UV light sensor. WiFi support is also added for your convenience to stay connected.
