At an event today in Singapore, Oppo has announced the Oppo N3 camera smartphone. The new N3 is a successor to the N1 and brings a 16 megapixels motorized camera which also tracks objects as they move.
The 16 megapixels imaging sensor is 1/2.3″ in size which is quite good to handle low-light situations however the pixel size is 1.34 µm (microns). The camera uses Schneider Kreuznach-certified lens with f/2.2 aperture opening and Dual-mode LED flash.
Oppo N3’s camera records 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 60fps and 720p slow motion videos at 120fps. The camera rotates up to 206 degrees. When shooting panoramas, it moves automatically. It does the same way when making selfies. Panoramas can be shot up to 64 megapixels in resolution. Other camera features also support Super Marco, After Focus, Raw Image, Slow Shutter and Manual Control.
In addition, the Oppo N3 comes with a new O-Click Bluetooth remote that acts as a remote trigger as well as it lets you adjust the camera’s angle using the extra buttons on it.
5.5″ display supports the resolution of 1080p (Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels) with the pixel density of 403 PPI and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Other features of the N3 smartphone include 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core (MSM8974AA), Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB (expandable up to 128GB microSD card), the fingerprint sensor at the back.Sensors include Distance sensor, Light sensor, G-sensor, 4D Gyroscope, Touch access.
In addition the N3 have Dual SIM support with one nano SIM and one micro SIM. It comes with 3000mAh battery.
Oppo N3 will be available from $649 in the coming months. In Pakistan it may cost you around Rs. 67,000/- The availability is yet not known but we think the new N3 will first start selling in China.
