Samsung unveils “Galaxy Grand Prime” and “Utopia” with 3G

With the launch of 3G services in Pakistan, the telecom enthusiasts are seeking powerful new devices to enjoy the next level of voice and data communications. Samsung, to cover the market with new services in the country, has introduced a 3G supported feature phone Utopia GT S5611 and an affordable smartphone Galaxy Grand Prime .

Samsung Utopia GT S5611

Samsung Utopia GT S5611 is an affordable feature phone that provides 3G connectivity at very low cost. The key features of the Utopia include 3G-enabled, High speed mobile experience with an HSDPA 7.2 Mbps data transfer capacity.

The phone is provides Social-networking experience on Facebook and Twitter as well asthe Samsung Messenger. Email support includes services like MSN, Yahoo and Gmail. The phone is capable of playing QVGA videos at 30fps..

Samsung Utopia features 5 MP Auto focus camera, with flash support, a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT LCD screen. The phone is 12.9 mm thicker with Metal accents.

Galaxy Grand Prime – 3G DUOS

The other device unveiled by Samsung, is the Galaxy Grand Prime – 3G DUOS smartphone, that sports a large 5.0” qHD TFT screen and the Selfie mode, and takes Ultra-wide shots upto 85 degrees. This smartphone runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat) and is powered by 1.2GHz Quad Core processor and 1GB of RAM with 8GB of storage.

Galaxy Grand Prime also supports 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, and a 5 MP front camera.. With the battery capacity of 2,600 mAh, the Grand Prime allows the Web-Connections and zippy downloads with a; Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, LTE Cat4 and HSPA+.

The price of both the devices above has not yet been disclosed officially but according to estimated price in local markets you can expect Samsung Utopia for Rs. ~10,000/- and the Galaxy Grand Prime for around Rs. ~23,000/-
